who is coral?
One of the steers behind Cwtch Consulting, a passionate welsh woman, chicken and beekeeper, teacher, trainer and supervisor with a passion for supporting the emotional well-being and mental health of children and young people so that they can live life fully and reach their emotional absolute potential. I started teaching some 30 years ago in what was then, inner-city London and very quickly developed a passion for the underdog. I have always prioritised emotional safety, joy, connection and fun (and a heavy emphasis on connection with nature and animals) and with this basis, children have almost learned despite me. What I believed intuitively then, I know neuroscientifically now~ that children need connection, relationship, safety and opportunity. I delight in sharing this knowledge through the delivery of training across Wales with Trauma Informed Schools and Communities. I feel privileged to have worked with this company since its inception and passionate about the message. When I’m not doing this, I can often be found potting, gardening, and chasing chickens!
